Q: Not all of my users intend to use the mobile application. Can I purchase a portion of my time licenses at the non-mobile plan pricing?
A: Mobile pricing applies to all users within a single company. We invite you to contact us at support@springahead.com to discuss how to ensure more of your users can take advantage of the full benefits the SpringAhead mobile application offers.
Q: When is the last date I can opt out of mobile pricing?
A: We will gladly process your opt out request within two months of the “Introducing SpringAhead mobile and new pricing” email date. Within that two months timeframe, you can submit an opt out request by the 25th of the month to ensure the Basic plan pricing is reflected on the following month’s invoice. Follow the link in the email to opt out.
For example, if your company is billed on the 1st of each month, opt out by 5pm PT on 6/25/2021 to ensure the Basic pricing is applied on your 7/1/2021 invoice. Opt out requests received between 6/25/2021 5pm PT and 7/25/2021 5pm PT will be processed and reflected on the 8/1/2021 invoice.
Q: Will I be able to upgrade to SpringAhead Mobile or downgrade to SpringAhead Basic in the future?
A: If you choose to opt out during the initial two-month period, you may upgrade to SpringAhead Mobile at any future time during the life of your SpringAhead account. All customers who signed up for SpringAhead prior to 5/1/2021 are eligible for $15 per time license pricing (40% off list price) until 12/31/2021.
Opt out and downgrade requests must be submitted within two months of this notice. After that, no additional change requests will be accepted.
Q: Will my SpringAhead pricing change again in the near future?
A: SpringAhead will periodically assess its pricing relative to the market and reserves the right to make changes in the future per our Terms of Use. In this case, while SpringAhead pricing is going up, we’re offering current customers like you an advanced discount.
Q: What other product improvements and/or bug fixes can you promise along with this price increase?
A: We are considering possible feature expansion for the mobile app, and will keep you informed as we make further progress. We would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions about the mobile app at productideas@springahead.com.
Q: What functionality does the mobile app support?
A: Current version of the mobile app supports the following features:
- Track time by entering simple duration or time in, time out and any breaks taken*
- Start, pause, resume, stop timers
- Include customer, project, task* and description details as needed on timecard entries
- Draft mode for offline entry
- Edit unsubmitted time entries

Q: How do I submit hours from the mobile app?
A: Timecard submission is available in the SpringAhead app v1.1 or newer. You can submit individual time entries by swiping left to right on an entry, or submit all time entries in the current period by tapping the “Submit All” banner at the top. If you have unsubmitted time entries but do not see the submit option, please update your app version.
Q: How will my users find out about the mobile app and start taking advantage of it?
A: Users can search for the apps on Google Play and Apple App Stores, or download from these links: SpringAhead Time on Google Play SpringAhead Time on App Store. For your convenience, we’ve created a template for you to send to your users.
