Enabling Payroll for Custom Exports Follow

SpringAhead can export payroll information in a format specific to any payroll software vendor that can import data in CSV (Common Separated Values) format. You will need to obtain the specifications for the CSV import from your payroll provider and send them to us at support@springahead.com. Using this guide, you will:

• Backup your SpringConnect settings
• Configure your My Company settings for custom export
• Restore your SpringConnect settings

Backing Up Your SpringConnect Settings

To prepare SpringConnect for exporting custom payroll settings, first back up the settings to the cloud. 

• Launch SpringConnect.
• Click on the logo in the top left-hand corner. 

• Go to Settings, then click Backup Settings. 

Configuring My Company

Once you have backed up your settings and sent the export specifications to SpringAhead Support, the next step is to configure your My Company settings.

• Go to Settings, then My Company.
• Scroll down to the Payables: Payroll Export section.
• Under Payroll Software, select Custom.
• Click Save and Close.

Restoring Your SpringConnect Settings

Once we have created your custom export, we will upload the new settings into the cloud so you can download them following these steps.

• Launch SpringConnect.
• Click on the logo in the top left-hand corner. 

• Go to Settings, then click Restore Settings. 

Your account is now configured for exporting your custom payroll settings.
