Timecard Audit Trail Follow
Each timecard in SpringAhead includes a step-by-step audit trail that records every action taken, such as adding, deleting, submitting, rejecting, approving, and processing timecard data. To view the audit trail, please follow the steps below.
Note: The audit trail is only available for timecards and is not accessible for expense reports.
There are two methods to reach the audit trail of a time card.
To access the audit trail from the Payables page, you can follow the steps below:
1. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the time entry you wish to view the audit for:
2. Next, select the week of the timecard you wish to view the history for:
3. When the timecard screen opens, click on the "Week" tab:
4: Click "View In New Window":
5: Finally, click Show History in the lower left corner:
This will display the complete history of the timecard:
To access the audit trail from the Time Calendar, please follow the steps below:
1. Click on Time & select the person you wish to review an audit for from the drop-down list
2. Click on Week to enter week mode
3. Optionally you can click on the timecard date rage to select a specific period.
4. Click on View Timecard

5. Click on Show History
When viewing the audit history of a time card, the left column shows the date and timestamp of each action. The centre column details the actions:
Added: When time was added to the timecard.
Approved: When the timecard was approved.
Processed: When the timecard was approved from the Review page.
Paid: When the timecard was exported from the Payables page.
Billed: When the timecard was exported from the Invoice page.
Rejected: When the timecard was rejected.
The right column shows the initials of the user who made the change.
The comments column displays descriptions or reasons for changes if DCAA is enabled.
Audit details are only available on the timecard and cannot be pulled in a report.
