Backing up data in SpringAhead Follow
How Do I Back-up Data in SpringAhead?
To back up data in a SpringAhead account, please follow the recommended steps below; however, the caveat is that it’s not possible to automatically pull attachments from expense reports or time cards.
Running A Report for Timecards
The first step of backing up data in a SpringAhead account is pulling a Time by Employee report with the start date aligning with the account's first-time entry and selecting an end date which aligns with the intended final date of the account. The additional options to select are:
- Set Employee to ALL
- Set Project to ALL
- Include Unapproved
- Include Pay Rate
- Include Bill Rate
- Include Details
Once the report is run, you can download it as a .csv or as a .xlsx for your records.
Running A Report for Expense Reports
The first step of backing up expense data in Springhead is pulling an Expenses by Employee report with a start and end date which aligns with the beginning of the expense data, and the end of the expense data. The additional options to select are:
- Include Details
When the report is run, it can be downloaded as a .csv or .xslx for your records:
